In April 2025, artist Hanna Chekodanova was awarded the Grand Prix at a prestigious international exhibition held in Prague, Czech Republic.
The exhibition, which brought together talented artists from around the world, recognized Hanna’s works — “Sunset Song” and “Spring Mood” — in the professional (PROFI) category as the best among the participants.
Hanna Chekodanova is one of the few artists who master the traditional Petrykivka painting technique, recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Winning the Grand Prix in the heart of Europe is a significant acknowledgment of her artistic excellence and an important step in promoting Ukrainian art on the international stage.
